2. Drink water
Our bodies are made up of mostly water, with it accounting for 70 – 75% of our body weight, according to reports. Without water, our bodies don’t function, and that includes having healthy skin and hair — not to mention, the absence of it after only a few days will prove lethal.
Even with its life-saving powers, water also does wonders when it comes to keeping you youthful, particularly in your skin. Just think about dehydrated fruit like grapes. Without water they shrivel up into wrinkled raisins. The same happens to your skin. If your skin is not getting enough water, your skin will dry out, be tight, flaky and less resilient to harmful substances.
While it has been often recommended to drink eight 8-ounce glasses (half a gallon) every day, you really should use yourself as your guide. Water comes from many other sources like fruits and vegetables, and you may be getting a lot of water without keeping a constant flow going. So basically when you’re thirsty, drink. When you’re not thirsty anymore, stop.
